Atlantic Dream - It has now been 8 months since my holiday with Air-Pro and it has been the best decision I've ever made to date. I was a single traveller and was added to a group of 10 other single people from all over the world. I got to know a few people first by looking on the message board of the website, so when I met them all on the meet up all I ever worried about was to get there on time. When we all joined up we got to introduce ourselves. After a while we all blended in straight away.

All 14 days of the tour were very well used. We started off from New York City to Miami. First stop was Washington DC where all the museum entrances were free to get in, a view of the White House and an emotional walk around the war memorials. Onto Great Smokey Mountains, near Virginia, where we had the opportunity to do some white water rafting and some beautiful hikes around the area. Then we hit Tennessee where the world famous Jack Daniels brewery was based where all you had to smell was the fumes of the whisky being made, good times! We visited the town next to it where the souvenir shops were and I purchased my prized item the Jack Daniels tumbler glass and shot glass :)

Then, the long haul trip down to the jazz and Mardi Gras capital New Orleans! We all went out on a Saturday night and it was amazing! We all sampled the famous jambalaya dish basically a mixture of rice, shrimp and chicken with spices delicious! While washing it down with a few hurricane cocktails woohoo! And that kicked started our night out in style. When you walk on the main street you had people throwing colourful necklace beads down from the first floor terraced houses as you're meant to wear them around your neck. I must admit I felt a bit like Mr. T off the A-Team. A heavy night of clubbing and drinking as much as you can around the bars AMAZING, but the only down point was a very sore head the next morning, ouch!

We then headed on to Panama City near Florida which was just spent chilling out on the beach before our next destination Orlando home of Walt Disney World checking out the latest rides and rollarcoasters, another day jet skiing along the coast and a rare sight of dolphins swimming along with you, wow! Then onto Key Largo crocodile country with a swamp tour and a crocodile wrestling show, Steve Irwin eat your heart out. Finally, onto Miami with the last day before my flight home. I was very sad to see my fellow trekkers leaving as we all became good friends so what we decided to do was to exchange phone numbers and email addresses.

I was very sad but felt I had an amazing time, one of the best holidays I have had for a long time. When my plane took off from Miami back to London Heathrow I am already planning my next trip. Thanks to all of the Air-Pro team for organising my trip and for the tour leader on the trip Jessica Durcan, you guys are the greatest!!! If anyone is thinking of doing a trip with Air-Pro JUST DO IT! If you don't you will regret it. The adventure continues??? You bet!!!

Atlantic Dream - It's nearly two weeks since I came back from the Atlantic Dream, and if I got the chance to do it all over again, I'd do it all over again. The two weeks I spent on trek were the best two weeks I've enjoyed so far this year. We had a good mix, two South African girls, a German girl, a Dutch one, two Welsh girls, good people, the Welsh. Also, there was an Irish guy, a South Korean one, and myself, representing Australia.

From our first day in Key West to our last day in Washington DC and New Jersey, it was a true adventure. From relaxing in Key West to chilling in Panama City. Partying hard in New Orleans to river rafting in West Virginia, we took it all in and savoured it.

I made 9 new friends during those two weeks, including our Trek leader, Ben Koss. He was young enough to be one of us, and made our trek as much fun as he could, which he did. Ben, you're a legend. It's my third Air-Pro trek, and it won't be my last one, that's for sure.

You'll have the time of your life if you book one and go on it, one week or nine weeks long, you'll come back a changed person; the travel bug can do that to a person.

Southern Sun - OH MY GOD! WHAT CAN I SAY????

I had the most amazing 21 days of my life! I thought the first couple of days were brill, and I didn't think it could get better, but to my surprise Shelley, our tour leader and the most amazing person in the world kept on making the days better. Every single day just got better! By the 21st all I wanted was the trek to start over again and for us to do it again!

I had the best group ever, I love every single person on that bus, Bring on "SWEET HOME ALABAMA!" I will never forget those days on that bus, and the laughs we had playing drinking card games and singing our hearts out! I just wish I had the time to do every other Trek, I would if I could!!!!!!!
Southern Sun Trekker Sept '03

Southern Sun - Now, before I begin, I went on this trek with no expectations what so ever, only the fact that I would be going to certain places in the brochure and finish up in Los Angeles. I thought there would be some nice sight-seeing, and a bit of a fun here and there.

HOW WRONG WAS I - From start to finish the trek was amazing, fun, had awesome views, and memories for a lifetime.

After doing Camp America, I went on the trek from New York and met 13 complete strangers and by the time we got to Los Angeles I wanted to do it all over again the next morning. The trek started off a bit quiet and peaceful in Washington, but when we got to Tennessee, OMG - we did an afternoon of whitewater rafting followed in the evening by what can only be described as a party I will never forget. For those who were there - our van rocked, literally, lol.

From then on, it never stopped. As we went along with 4 other groups doing the same trek, we had some amazing nights. Next was New Orleans. If you've ever heard anything about this place, believe me - it's all TRUE. A party capital in its own right on Bourbon Street, not for just one night but two. A few days later we went onto Del Rio & into Mexico. I think the 'Tequila Club' says it all for a night's entertainment. That night and the bus ride home, as far as I am concerned, is something of a legend now.

Then onto Monument Valley, after a surreal, out of this world night camping with the cowboys and the sunset horse ride. Jeep tour with the Indians a day later and then onto the 8th Wonder of the World - The Grand Canyon. A sunset evening meal looking over the Grand Canyon with pizza in the one hand and a cup of Champagne in the other after my helicopter flight was a day that left me speechless.

Onto Lake Powell where a ghost, a cow, a prisoner, the clown, some mechanics, a couple of hippies, and a witch decided to have a crazy night of fun. The photo's say it all, lol.

Next was Zion National Park, which was well worth another hike on the trek to yet again another awesome view! From then on, it was onto none other than Las Vegas, where the party van continued. A day later we spent a day with Mickey Mouse and co at Disneyland, and then finished up at Los Angeles.

Everything was out of this world, well organised and AWESOME every step of the way. A huge thanks to ALEX FORNES (senior), and a big thanks to such a great group of people that I met on the trek and in my group.

The Grand Trek - I just thought I would pass on my thanks to my guides Ryan and Geo for doing the Grand Trek in Sept/Oct 2005, I had a fantastic time touring the US, we got to see some amazing natural sights such as Yosemite, Yellowstone and Badlands National Parks, fantastic cities like Chicago, Washington DC and the awe-inspiring Cow Palace!

As well doing some great things including ATVs, flying over the Grand Canyon, a Sunset Cruise on San Francisco bay, Cruising the Vegas Strip in a Pimped out bus, Horse Riding in Monument Valley, Moonlight walks, a crazy night across the border in Mexico (that's one night I will never forget!), a College Football game, just to name a few.

I would recommend Trek America to anyone looking to travel America on their own in safety and most importantly with company so it's a big shout out to my other trekkers, Jo, Abby, Ursula, Kylie, Anna, Rachel, Vicky, Suzi, Sue, Jacquie, Karl & Van Man Simon, you made the trip even better.
